Adapted from the mock-heroic poem in Roman dialect, tells the misadventures of the young trasteverino Bartolomeo Patacca that, because of the ambition of his woman, is having to train a group of beggars to go fight in defense of Christianity in Vienna, besieged by the Turks.
Franco e Ciccio... ladro e guardia (1969)
A cop has a cousin who is a thief, and one day while he is chasing him he ends up in a room with a murdered man. The two are photographed at the murder scene and believed to be the assassins. The police however believe in their innocence and send the odd couple on the trail of the real murderer who is thought to be working in a circus.

Indovina chi viene a merenda? (1969)
Sicily 1943 to avoid war, Franco and Ciccio are hiding in the mountains. Two American paratroopers steal their clothes leaving him in exchange uniforms, so our "heroes" are captured by the Germans and deported to Germany. Evade, take refuge on a farm and will be involved in mishaps chain. After the war, they thought dead, are safe and sound, up there in Germany.
