Synopsis
女子监狱内犯人傅源有一天无声无迹消失了，警官松东路（刘青云 饰）前往监狱调查，发现傅源引他到香城找她。香城民生困苦，首富高敏雄与官勾结，苛待工人。工人跳楼自杀接二连三发生，死者均穿上控诉高敏雄的血衣。东路着手调查，大学哲学系教授霍华（林家栋 饰）指出傅源半年前曾于报章刊登文字译码游戏，题目似与一连串的自杀事件有关。越接近真相，却发现真凶可能一直潜伏在自己身边，真相究竟是如何？
