The story is about Thilakan and his two adopted sons, one of them blind, Unni (Sreenivasan), and the other one deaf, Balan (Mukesh). The story takes a turn when the sons marry and their in-laws try to steal the family money. Krishnankutty (Jagathy) is the clever but honest caretaker for the deaf and blind siblings who is constantly at odds with their in-laws. The father (Thilakan), carries the burden of sorting things out.

Snehapoorvam Panackalachan

A biopic based on the life story of J.C. Daniel, the pioneer of Malayalam cinema. It is a detailed account on Daniel's life, making of his film Vigathakumaran and the tragic story of Vigathakumaran's heroine P. K. Rosie. The film is particularly based on the novel Nashta Naayika by Vinu Abraham (which details the story of Rosie) and the biography of J. C. Daniel by Chelangatt Gopalakrishnan.

The host extols the virtues of the Almighty and a religious leader delivers an enlightening discourse on the teachings of the scriptures, encouraging followers to walk the path of spirituality.

The movie is all about the relationships between two rare bred men from extremely different strata of society, but more in common than is apparent from the first look. They might have never run into each other, with their stark contrast in nature and life styles and would have hardly given each other a second look, if they hadn't met in these defined circumstances. But the movie throws them together, intertwined in worst of their days and progressively built in the rapport between the extremes,
