Vasanthabalan is a Tamil film director. He has made critically acclaimed films including Veyil and Angadi Theru.
The director began his career with Album, which failed at the box-office. His second film, produced by S Pictures company, Veyil became a blockbuster and was shown as the Indian representative at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival.
