Sylvain White (born December 21, 1971) is a film director.
Son of an American professional basketball player and a French flight attendant, Sylvain White was born in France and grew up mostly in Paris. After attending La Sorbonne University for law, he earned a scholarship to Pomona College in California, where he graduated with honors in Media Studies. While still in school, Sylvain wrote for and worked with directors such as Michel Gondry and Spike Jonz
