Bharathan is a Tamil film director who mainls works in Tamil movies. He initially began his career as an assistant director to film director Dharani and penned dialogues for Vikram's Dhill (2001) and Vijay's Ghilli (2004) which was directed by Dharani and Madhurey (2004) which was directed by Ramana Madhesh and Ajith's Veeram (2014) which was directed by Siva.
Bharathan made his directorial debut in Vijay's Azhagiya Tamil Magan.
