Rahul, an aspiring filmmaker, struggles with the stigma of being a popular director's illegitimate child. His father, Virendra, has a change of heart after Rahul eventually wins a film award.

Shekhar, a young scientist, falls in love with Anjana, a dancer, and marries her. Differences separate the couple but when Shekhar's mother visits, they are forced to unite again.

Divakar is a poet who adores his wife, Jamuna, and soon begins to see her as his muse in his imagination and even names her Mohini. But his obsession with Mohini begins to destroy his home and career.

When Ramu is challenged by Indumati's father to garner wealth in order to marry her, he seeks help from Mantrik who assists him. Soon, Indumati gets kidnapped and Ramu sets out to rescue her.
