Oohakachavadam is a 1988 Indian Malayalam film, directed by K. Madhu. The film stars Adoor Bhasi, Balachandra Menon, Murali Suhasini and Prathapachandran in lead roles. The film had musical score by MG Radhakrishnan.

Roopa, a beautiful young village belle is much loved by the villagers of Chandanpur. Chandanpur celebrates a huge Mela every year and this year, they invite a Minister to inaugurate it. In an assassination attempt that follows, a massacre takes place. Chandanpur is devastated and Roopa's family gets wiped out. She vows revenge. Into her life enter two men, the gregarious Kishan and the volatile Shankar, causing much upheaval in their relationship.

The movie is about two friends who go to the same college: Vijay (Kunchacko Boban) and Ajith (Dileep). They start out as enemies but end up friends.

Malli, an undercover police officer, joins hands with Daddy, a mafia gang leader, to put an end to his criminal activities. However, he does not know that Chandu, a police officer, is Daddy's aide.

Benny is the manager of the heavily in debt family business. He is also the guardian of his dead sister's mischievous kids. Rahul hires Annie as governess. Annie is a runaway from home as she does not want to marry the man her orthodox family has chosen for her. Predictably, Benny and Annie fall in love.

Two school students plan to runaway while on the school trip. But with the entering of an uninvited man in the situation for their help and one of them falls in love with him, something is revealed which is not so pleasant.

Unni is wrongly accused for murder of Kannan in Dubai. Sheikh Al Mubharak Rasim Khalid tells Unni's elder brother Nandagopalan Vishwanathan that he can release Unni if he gets he can get a letter from Kannan's family that they have pardoned Unni and all the members of Unni's family should sign the letter. Nandagopalan goes to Unni's house disguised as a Sheikh from Sharjah and trying to fool everyone in signing the letter without telling the truth of the contents of the letter.
