Alaigal (The Waves) is a 1973 Tamil film produced and directed by C. V. Sridhar. The film stars Vishnuvardhan and Chandrakala in the lead roles.[1] It was the first Tamil film of Kannada actor Vishnuvardhan. This film was dubbed in Telugu as Lakshmi Nirdoshi.

Sivaji and Vamsi share an unbreakable bond while taking care of their father's business. However, things change when Vamsi marries Seetha who tries to separate them in whichever way possible.
