Georges Neri est né le 13 juillet 1934 à Marseille. Il a travaillé quelque temps dans la boulangerie de ses parents avant de devenir chauffeur de taxi dans sa ville natale.
Comédien et chanteur méridional il a toujours rêvé de vivre de ses passions. Durant de nombreuses années il se contente de chanter et de produire ses sketchs dans des banquets et des mariages.
