From Wikipedia Louise Troy (November 9, 1933 — May 5, 1994) was an American actress of stage and screen. She is best known for her performances in Tovarich (1963) and Walking Happy (1966), both of which she was nominated for a Tony Award. Her signature stage role was that of the lead in High Spirits (1964). She studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and made her Broadway debut in the musical Pipe Dream. She received critical acclaim for her role opposite Edward Woodward in the 1964 m

The Swimmer (1968)

Well-off ad man Ned Merrill is visiting a friend when he notices the abundance of backyard pools that populate their upscale suburb. Ned suddenly decides that he'd like to travel the eight miles back to his own home by simply swimming across every pool in town. Soon, Ned's journey becomes harrowing; at each house, he is somehow confronted with a reminder of his romantic, domestic and economic failures.
