Subhadramma is a gutsy woman who raises her two daughters single-handedly after her husband Narayankutty deserts her. Shivankutty, her neighbor is a linesman who is in love with her daughter Parvathy. After the initial resistance, Subhadramma agrees to their marriage. However, things change when Narayankutty returns.

Manu forms a deep connection with a sculpture in his college. However, he later realises that the sculpture bears a striking resemblance to a mysterious girl named Subhadra.
